Leather Care by CDM
Carr & Day & Martin, CDM, Belvoir, Step 1, Step 2, Saddle Soap, Saddle soap conditioner, Spray soap, saddle soap bar
Just as you would shampoo your own hair before conditioning, it is essential to clean leather before applying a conditioner. This ensures the surface of the leather is free from grease and dirt. After using Step 1 Cleaner, leather should then be treated with a conditioner or soap to moisturise, protect and keep it supple.
Leather contains moisturising and lubricating oils that are gradually lost. Instead of flexing and stretching, the fibres become tight and stiff, and will eventually weaken and break, causing cracks. CDM provide several solutions to help maintain your tack...
